I grew up in Vancouver and graduated from Langara’s RMT program in 2021. My philosophy is that each body and individual is unique, and as such they deserve specific, engaged attention to their needs.
As a trans and autistic/ADHD person, I’m committed to fostering an environment that is non-judgmental, inclusive, and body-neutral. I’m particularly interested in providing care to queer, gender-expansive, and neurodivergent individuals. My hands-on approach to the body is exploratory, picking up and moving tissues to identify and pinpoint areas of restriction, then letting what we find guide our specific work.In my practice, I gravitate to specific and detailed work as well as techniques that encourage and promote movement. I approach each area of concern in its full context as part of a functional system, which often involves addressing areas outside of the precise spots that feel uncomfortable. While I’m often quiet during treatment as I like to focus on communicating with the body through my hands, I’m always happy to talk through what we’re doing in the moment, exploring ideas, treatment plans, and the rationale behind our treatment. Outside of the clinic, I can be found in used bookstores, cycling around town, or digging into a good game. |
