This focused treatment is used to access and mobilize scar tissue. Techniques such as myofascial release will help to increase pliability, range of motion and often lessen the visual appearance of the scar by creating a "functional" scar, that is not adhered to underlying structures as much as possible.
How to massage your scar safely and progressively and other self care measures will be shown. This treatment is great for post surgical scars and aged scars alike.
Some examples are: Top or Bottom Surgeries, Mastectomy, Hysterectomy, C-Sections and Orthopaedic Surgeries.
Both Kae and Nancy have taken extensive Mastectomy courses and are familiar with the various types of surgeries and reconstruction methods.
