Morgan Gaffney RMT
I earned my diploma from the Fanshawe College Massage Therapy program in Ontario, graduating on the President’s Honour Roll. I then moved to Vancouver and registered with the CMTBC before beginning my practice here on the West Coast.
I have always been passionate about caring for others. Before becoming an RMT, I earned my bachelor’s degree in Cultural Studies, going on to become a certified Educational Assistant working with children with special needs. After many years of working with children and taking time to travel across the world, I was inspired to go back to college to become an RMT. During my time in massage school, I had the opportunity to treat soon-to-be and new mommas; and it totally sparked another passion! I'm so excited to be in a practice where I can blend my love for children, pregnancy, and the science of massage to help others. I welcome all folks to my practice for a safe space to land. My aim is always to create a calm and relaxing atmosphere, focusing on providing client-centered care and promoting wellness. I believe in a holistic approach to helping the body rehabilitate itself with a gentle approach using a variety of techniques throughout treatment including, Swedish massage, soft tissue release, fascial stretch, joint play, rhythmic mobilization and homecare. I believe that each person is the expert when it comes to their body; and by actively listening to you, I focus on creating a unique treatment based on your individual concerns. I strive to empower my clients to prioritize their health and wellbeing, by providing support and assistance to the body’s ability to relax and recover. |
