I find the body fascinating and have always been curious about health, nutrition, herbs and how to heal internally. This led me to want to learn more about how to help the body externally, so massage therapy was an interesting career to me. I have been an RMT 15 years and still love it! I try to really tune in with clients to see why a problem might have started and give a treatment that feels well matched to their needs.
My treatment style is a mix of stretching the outer layer (your fascia), then peeling through the layers, eventually using deep pressure to focus on stubborn knots. I take a slower approach to help a muscle release, all while blending a relaxing intuitive flow to help you get into the zen zone. Besides work, I can be found doing a range of things such as weight training, yoga, playing goalie on a women's soccer team, doing agility classes with my dog, hiking with my dog and her buddies, thrift store hunting, finding new places for my own self-care and watching movies (especially Sci-Fi or zombies) while sharing popcorn with my dog and rabbit! |
